Hardman Communications began in 2003 as the vision of Sue Hardman, a driven communications professional with over 30 years of experience and a passion for meaningful storytelling.

After returning to Australia from a senior expat role in the USA, Sue combined her global expertise and MBA to build an agency dedicated to helping businesses thrive through strategic communications.

She built the business from the ground up, nurturing a skilled and trusted team and growing HC into a highly regarded agency specialising in industries like agribusiness, construction, manufacturing, transport, and infrastructure. The team has worked tirelessly to earn trust, build influence and drive results in these important sectors.

The agency has always been based in Western Sydney – a region undergoing vibrant transformation reflecting HC’s commitment to connection, inspiration and sustainability. Sue’s leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in empowering others, overcoming challenges and building strong, lasting relationships. As she puts it:
