You may think you know Team HC, but some of us have some unusual skills that may (or may not) surprise you.
Sue – My hidden talent is “just in time arrival”. I don’t like downtime, so whether it’s catching a flight or making it to a meeting, I always manage to slip in right on time. Some call it luck, others impatience, but I like to think it’s perfect planning in action!
Kendi – My hidden talent is being able to sleep standing up. I haven’t done it in a long time, but it used to come in handy for catching a few extra ZZZZs on a packed morning train before an early start at work.
Alex – It’s not fully tested, but I think I have pretty good reflexes. Nine times out of 10 if I accidentally drop something, it’s not touching the ground and I’m safely catching it!
Shereen – My hidden talent? I can parallel park like a pro. No matter how tricky the street, I become one with my car, and a master of angles to flawlessly squeeze into the tightest spaces. I’ve wowed onlookers many times with my parking precision.
Karen – Riding high on my recent success, the second win in two years in the extended family tipping competition, most people would not realise that I am a keen watcher of the NRL. There is something cathartic about placing the brain in neutral and watching the footy. Go the Panthers!
Olivia – My hidden talent is a little strange – it’s being able to bend my thumb all the way back to touch my arm! Weird, I know, but thanks to the flexibility, it comes in handy when I try to hold many things and it also makes a fun party trick.
