With the excitement for the Olympics in the air, Team HC has got to thinking about what we might win a gold medal for…. and for some it’s not sport!

Sue – Drive and talk, walk and listen, work and connect, ride the elevator and email. Not sure I’d win gold (or that the category is still relevant in a world where we are meant to be present and focused) but I’d give a red hot go at winning a medal for multitasking.

Kendi – Pretty sure I could at least snag a bronze in the Olympic sport of Shouting Advice At the TV About Sports I Have Never Watched Before.

Alex – Probably useless celebrity trivia. I’m often known for throwing out some ‘fun facts’ about who dated who or which celeb was spotted where. They’re facts that take up space in my brain but are really only useful for small talk or trivia nights!

Shereen – I’d probably win gold for organising at the most inopportune times. Kids want to play? Let’s organise the toys! Time to put away the washing before guests arrive? Let’s re-arrange the wardrobe! My mind is constantly buzzing with ideas to store, organise and make the best use of space. It’s a handy skill but it tends to kick in at the strangest times.

Karen – I’m too much of an allrounder to be a specialist of anything at Olympic level. In our sport mad house we will watch it all, but as a past aspiring dressage rider who went to pony club with three day event rider Shane Rose (recently of mankini fame – don’t think it will get a run in Paris 😊) all equestrian events will be top of the list. Then there are the sports we don’t see on prime time for most of the year like the swimming and athletics and gymnastics and hockey…. can’t wait!
