In our 21st year of business, we’re looking at other ways we can celebrate, and give back to the community and the industry sectors we love to support and be a part of.
To that end, we’re excited to officially launch and offer free places in our new media training program – Savvy Soundbites: Masterclass for Media Engagement.
Our masterclass will give emerging or established leaders the essential skills and techniques they need to make the most of media opportunities. Learn how the media works, what they are looking for, how to match your story to a journalist’s interests and how to perform well in interviews.
Our sessions are usually valued at $3,000 – but to celebrate 21 years as passionate advocates of Western Sydney, and the transformation taking place in this region we’re offering six free places to share what we know.
Who is it for?
This masterclass is designed for businesspeople, CEOs, start-up operators, NFP leaders and others with little prior media interview experience, who need to upskill to be able to tell their story well.
It’s ideal for people who need to:
- engage with media to support business growth
- build your professional reputation
- promote a passion project
To be eligible for a free place, you must be based in Western Sydney.
When and where
The three-hour session will be held in Parramatta on Thursday, 15th June.

How participants will be selected
There is a simple application process – tell us a little about yourself and why you think this program will be of value to you. Our team will review all applications and will award the places to those applicants we think will get most benefit from the masterclass.
P.S – All going well we hope to have the capacity to host additional waves of the program with free placements focusing on other sectors close to our heart such as agriculture and manufacturing – stay tuned!
