Sue – I’ve always been curious about the iconic postie, perched on that little red Honda, saddlebags full of mail and parcels, decked out in hi-vis. If given the chance, I’d deliver the mail, take time to chat with the oldies, and enjoy the breeze, the birds and the sunshine. But please, don’t schedule my job swap on a rainy day.
Kendi – I’d be a paramedic for a day. I love those days where it’s go go go with no time to get too introspective, and where you never know what’s coming next, and even though it would be a very stressful job it must be so rewarding to go home at the end of the shift knowing you made a real difference for every person you interacted with that day.
Alex – I’ve always thought I would love to work at a winery and take people through wine tastings. The view is always pretty, you get to meet a whole lot of interesting people, plus I’m sure you get to try some of the product to make sure you know what you’re talking about!
Shereen – I’d love to trade places with a movie star who is attending a glamorous movie premiere or awards ceremony. The thrill of stepping into the spotlight, walking the red carpet, interacting with fans and meeting other celebrities would be a dream come true. And of course, getting the full glam treatment, complete with designer clothes and jewellery. Sign me up!
Karen – Just for a day I would like to be PM, make a couple ministerial decrees to sort out a few things, and if possible, obtain some real answers from the more evasive of the public servants. Oh, and first class travel all the way please!
